Vastu (part 02)

                                       (vastu part 2)

Vastu Shastra is based on the laws of the harmony of the universe, which are manifested in the planetary (cosmic) and time-effects on human physiology. For this reason, Vastu science is closely related to Vedic astrology (Jyotish) and Ayurveda.
Each side of the world corresponds to a certain energy, so each direction has its own interpretation in Vastu Shastra:
  1. Each side of the world (different sectors of the house) is influenced by one of their planets. Each planet regulates a certain sphere of human life. The planets influence our body, our home, our body through the house and the events of our life.
  2. The four main directions of the world (north, south, west, east) and the center are also influenced by 5 primary elements – fire, air, earth, water and ether. According to Vedic knowledge, primary elements are the most subtle structures in the universe, everything in the material world consists of these 5 primary elements in various combinations and proportions.
  3. Various areas and zones of the house are controlled by certain Gods.

All these aspects are interrelated and take into account the Vastu principle in the construction and planning of residential and non-residential buildings.
Orientation to the main directions of the world affects the brain. As scientific studies have shown, the work of the neurons of our brain changes depending on the direction in which we are looking. In addition, there are “orientational” neurons in the brain that give signals about the location of the body indoors and in space. Thus, the direction in which we look has a direct impact on the work of our brain and the as a whole organism. When we live or work in buildings with the wrong orientation or distorted proportions, the work of brain neurons takes the wrong character, and this can cause anxiety, illness, decline of creative power, trouble in family and professional life, anti-social behavior and even criminal inclinations.
Buildings facing in any direction other than strictly east or north do not protect their owners and inhabitants from negative external influences that accumulate over time. The principle of orientation of buildings to the east, adopted in Vedic architecture, reflects this natural tendency of our nervous system to tune into space.
Consider each direction in more detail:
– Eastern direction – belongs to God Indra. Dawn begins from the East, so everything that is done in the East or facing East – leads to prosperity, all issues related to career, external action, business, study, influence – all this will improve and flourish in this part.
– The West is ruled by Varuna, he controls the rain and water. Sector demanding maximum respect. It should not be too open. The best place for discipline and austerity. Very well suited for the dining area, as well as for the toilet. At the same time, it is very good to arrange study rooms or classrooms in the west. The energy of this zone will give you enough assiduity and discipline.
– North. The main God, Kuvera, protects wealth and well-being. This is the sector of communication, communication, business, finance, as well as guests, intelligence and study.
– South. The Lord of the Pit dominates. Another sector of male assertive force, the sector of glory.
– Southeast. The main God is Agni (fire). This is the female energy sector in the house. If you want to improve the attitude towards you and within the family – harmonize first of all this part of your home. In addition, it is one of the sectors of wealth in the house. When planning a house in this direction should be a kitchen.
– Southwest. The chief is Nairuti. Sector of gravity, closure. Everything that is heavy in the house is better to install in the south-western part of your house. Here you just do not need to open and clear, here you need to close and store. This is the perfect place for a owners bedroom. There should not be a bathroom and toilets, wells because It may harm a person.
– Northwest. The god of the wind prevails. Light and bright sector, responsible for changes in our live, for travel, for children and guests, for vehicles and animals. If you want a change – pay attention to the north-west. The one who has a bedroom in this sector travels a lot and is practically never at home …
– Northeast. The most important sector, here is the head of Vastu Purusha. It is the activation of this sector that will bring general luck to the house in all matters.
You can activate the Northeast by creating an open space in this area, as well as cleanliness, pleasant smells and sounds. And in any case, do not swear, and generally do not raise your voice in this area of the house. There should not be a toilet in this area.
